Why I am running to represent District 41.
I am running to provide a Democratic choice for the people of District 41 as well as a working-class person's point of view and perspective.
I am also looking to bring back a more bi-partisan view and not just a party-line-only way of government and thinking. This means I will be open to meeting with fellow members and discussing in an open and meaningful way any and all concerns. It is very important to me that we bring back a government “for the people '' and not for the corporations.
I feel that there are many Republicans who are unhappy with the current direction their party has taken on many issues. I believe those people are in the district I represent, and they want to make different choices in order to put our state interests above their party interests. I look forward to being their voice in the Indiana State House of Representatives.
Meet Greg
I am a Hoosier. I was born and raised here in our great state. I have always been in the people business, starting with my first job as a paperboy for the old Indianapolis evening news and continuing through the years in customer-facing positions. I have been a business owner and a Cub Scout pack leader. I have always been one to speak my mind and stand up for what I feel is right. I am a leader, collaborator, and problem-solver. Once I take on a task, I will do whatever is needed to get the job done. I am on organization boards and volunteer my time for many good causes.
My wife Sunday and I have been married for over 35 years and have lived in Boone County since 1985 when we moved back to her family homestead to raise our two boys, making them fifth generation on the same land. Both of my sons, as well as my wife, graduated from Zionsville High School. I graduated from Pike High School and became certified as an EMT and worked for the Zionsville ambulance service. I also achieved a certification in Project Management from IUPUI that moved me into the career I have today. I am a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and son, but most of all, I am a person looking to make a difference in any way I can.
